cause im alrdy sec 1 this year,hmwk's gonna be hectic,time is going to be very minimal due to the 1h+ long travelling time from school back home,expectations are also going to be higher,and i cant be as blur and forgetful as ever...

as you are working hard to prove to your parents that you can strike a balance in cca and studies,i will also be working hard to be a student with a clean record!

so,im going to write some personal rules for myself:

1.i must finish all the homework that has to be completed by the next day before i can go and use the computer for recreational purposes.

2.i must check that all my work has been completed and i have put all the things that needs to be brought the next day before i go to sleep.

3.to help with my forgetfulness,i must write down all the homework and things that has to be brought or bought in my diary and look through them to make sure all the things are done.

4.i must write out a schedule for myself and decide how much of work i must finish in a day.

5.in order for me not to slacken because of my mood or some other reason,i must design a consequence for not following my schedule,that is i will not be able to use the computer or watch tv or anything else until i finish the work for 2 days,including the day i slackened and did not follow my timetable and finish up my work.

6.of course,if i keep going hard with myself,that will make studying boring and i wont have the drive to do my work properly.so there must be rewards too if i complete the work for that day and did fairly well,that is,i will be able to spend my time on either saturday or sunday(just one)the way i want it.

7.listen attentively to teachers when they are teaching and take down notes.dont decorate them excessively,just some different coloured pens will do.

8.put your heart and soul into everything you do,and be self-disciplined enough to obey the above rules.

this is my set of rules.

i might add on some more rules if i think of anything but so far just like that.

really,its not going to be a easy year,but i will give it my best.

and by the way,just to remind all 6-2 ppl:for literature,mdm ng said before that as long as you read the book over and over again until you already know it like the back of your hand,literature wouldnt be a difficult subject.so just rmb that for your literature!((:
