for singapore, my homeland <3
brings back memories from primary school i guess.
performances like will you, shine on me, my island home, we will get there etc.
standing in the parade square singing national anthem, school song, my people my home, saying the pledge, and reciting recollections by heart in the rain once.
rehearsing recollections in the school hall with ms fong leading days before the celebration.
it's incredible.
honestly, i miss the place where it's closest to home, closest to my heart.
where it gave me the best memories ever.
people say you have the most unforgettable and beautiful memories in secondary school but i beg to differ.
we all wished for a meetoh secondary school where we could still be together.
now that we are separated, not all of cares as much anymore.
but i do. if i was given a chance to be back in a class with all of my best friends then, and the people in the rest of the class too, i would take it without hesitation.
because it's where i feel like i belong, more.
okay, enough of this.
happy national day anyway. (:
